Service Information
LBC worships on Sunday mornings at 10:15AM, in the Sanctuary.
We provide a blended worship service that includes many modern hymns and praise songs along with traditional hymns. Our elders preach expository messages from the Scripture.
Upon request, our service can be interpreted into American Sign Language (ASL), and sound amplification devices are available at every service. To request ASL interpretation, please contact the church office at 301-475-2131 or office@LBCMD.org
There is no dress code here at LBC (however we do believe in people practicing modesty). Each Sunday, some people like to dress up while others come in more casual attire. Whether you come in jeans, a suit, a dress, or khakis, you are welcome here. Worship is ultimately a matter of the heart and not a matter of dress.
For Parents of Young Children
We want you and your children to relax and enjoy your time at Leonardtown Baptist Church. We know that God put the wiggle in children, and we don’t want you to feel as if you have to suppress those wiggles in God’s house.
NURSERY: We welcome newborns through age 3 into our nurseries (Room B3 for infants and Room B2 for toddlers) for the entire morning (9 AM through the conclusion of the 10:15 AM worship service).
JUNIOR CHURCH: Children age 3 (who are potty-trained) through Kindergarten are invited to join in our Jr. Church (Room C 1/2) for the second half of the worship service.
CHILDREN’S BIBLE FELLOWSHIPS: We call our Sunday School classes “Bible Fellowships” and they meet every Sunday from 9:00-10:00 AM. We have the following age groups available for children:
- Pre-K meets in classroom C 1.
- Kindergarten-1st Grade meets in classroom C 3.
- 2nd-3rd Grade meets in classroom C 4/5.
- 4th-5th Grade meets in classroom C 6.

Leonardtown Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church located in St. Mary's County, Maryland. It's our aim to glorify God by seeking the Lord in worship, studying the Word together, serving the body of Christ, and sharing Christ with the world.
We gladly cooperate with the churches of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist Convention of Maryland & Delaware, and the Potomac Baptist Association.
