LBC has two worship services on Sunday mornings: 8:30 AM and 11:15 AM.
Our worship services are identical in that the music, the message, and the elder preaching that morning are all the same. We provide a blended worship service that includes many modern hymns and praise songs along with traditional hymns. Our elders preach expository messages from the Scripture. It is our desire that all those attending our services will have a very similar worship experience each Sunday, whichever service they choose to attend.
Our 11:15 AM service is translated into American Sign Language (ASL), and sound amplification devices are available at every service.
There is no dress code here at LBC (however we do believe in people practicing modesty). Each Sunday, some people like to dress up while others come in more casual attire. Whether you come in jeans, a suit, a dress, or khakis, you are welcome here. Worship is ultimately a matter of the heart and not a matter of dress.
Upon arriving, we hope you will stop by our Welcome Center, found outside the Sanctuary. Our Welcome Center attendants would love the opportunity to answer your questions, show you around, and present you with a small gift and folder of information about LBC.
Our greeters wear name tags so they are easily identifiable and look forward to assisting you and your family. As a guest of LBC, you will not be singled out or asked to give financially.
We do invite you to fill out a Guest and Ministry card, the tear off portion of the bulletin, and either place it in the offering plate or take it to the Welcome Center at the conclusion of the service. This card simply lets us know you were here and allows us to send you information about our church and it's ministries through the mail and e-mail.
It is our goal to create a safe and loving environment in which the children and youth entrusted to our care are able to learn about the character of God, discover biblical truth, and learn what it means to follow Jesus Christ. Want to learn more about our Protection Policy for Children and Youth? You may read the policy here. All of our volunteers who work with minors at LBC have had background checks (if 18 or older) and are provided with applicable ministry-related and safety training.
If your child or children are aged birth through 5th grade, please visit the Child Check-In Desk, located just inside our main entrance. Our Child Check-In attendant will provide name tags for your children who are kindergarten aged and younger.
Our name tags are a two-part system: the main tag goes on your child's back and includes your child's name, an alpha-numeric identifier, and pertinent medical information (i.e. food allergies). The second part is for you and has the same alpha-numeric code as your child's name tag. When picking up your child from their Bible Fellowship, Nursery, or Junior Church, please show your identifier ticket. The children's worker will match it to your child's name tag prior to releasing the child.
The Child Check-In attendant will show you where each Bible Fellowship classroom (9:50-11:00 AM) is located and introduce you and your child to the teaching team.
If your kids are in middle school or high school, they can join other students in our Christian Life Center which is to the right of the Child Check-In Desk.
While at LBC, your child will receive age-appropriate teaching, worship, and activities designed to point your child toward a relationship with Christ.
