Ministries
As an A/V Technician volunteer for LBC, your primary responsibilities may include:
- Setting up audio and visual equipment before services and events
- Operating audio and visual equipment during services and events, ensuring that sound and visuals are of high quality and functioning properly
- Troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during services and events
- Collaborating with other volunteers and church staff to ensure that audio and visual components of services and events are integrated seamlessly
- Maintaining and organizing A/V equipment, keeping it in good working condition
- Assisting with live streaming of services and events
- Adhering to church policies and procedures regarding A/V equipment and technology usage
As an A/V Technician , you may also be responsible for training and supervising other volunteers who assist with audio and visual equipment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and technical expertise are recommended for this role.
As a Children’s Church volunteer, your primary responsibilities may include:
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers during Sunday School
- Preparing and leading age-appropriate activities, lessons, and games that promote early childhood development and spiritual growth
- Engaging with toddlers through play and interactive activities, encouraging their participation and involvement in class
- Assisting with basic needs such as diaper changes, snacks, and bathroom breaks
- Collaborating with other volunteers and church staff to ensure that Sunday School runs smoothly and meets the needs of all children
- Adhering to church policies and procedures regarding child safety and protection
- Maintaining a positive and respectful attitude towards all children and their families, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
You may also be responsible for communicating with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and needs. Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children are essential for this role.
As a Crossfit Youth helper, your primary responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the coordination of weekly Youth Group meetings and events
- Participating in Youth Group meetings and events, engaging with youth and providing guidance and support as needed
- Assisting with the facilitation of small group discussions and activities
- Supporting the Youth Group leader in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all participants
- Adhering to church policies and procedures regarding child safety and protection
- Traveling with the Youth Group to off-site events and activities, ensuring that all participants are accounted for and safe during the trip
You may also be responsible for mentoring individual youth who may need extra support. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with youth are essential for this role. Additionally, you will need to be available to work evenings and weekends, as many Youth Group events take place outside of regular church hours.
